Simple to make - using only four ingredients - these soft-whipped buttery shortbread cookies will literally melt in your mouth and have everyone reaching for more!
2 cups All Purpose Flour
¾ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Butter, room temperature
½ cup Icing Sugar
- Add all ingredients to the bowl of a stand mixer. Using the paddle attachment, mix on low speed until the dough comes together.
- Turn dough out onto a floured countertop. Roll out to ¼” thickness and cut into festive holiday shapes! Sprinkle with coloured sugar before baking if desired.
- Transfer cut-outs to a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 325 degrees until lightly golden, about 12-15 minutes. Cool and enjoy!
