Why do you choose Downtown Oakville?
When I purchased the business in 1990, it had been in the downtown core
for a number of years, although we were enticed at times to move, there
was never a second thought of leaving what the Downtown gave to us as a
business and the feeling of community.
What is your favourite Downtown Oakville memory?
Our favourite memory was years ago when our kids were toddlers. With the
office being at Dunn and Lakeshore, it makes it convenient for activities and
events in the downtown. It was the Santa Claus parade. We had the family
perched on the sidewalk with goodies and hot chocolate. Nancy and I will
never forget as Santa came down the road, in behind him came the snow. It
was like we were in a magical moment in downtown.
