Willson Oakville Film Festival Kick-Off Film Passes On Sale Now!

Willson Oakville Film Festival, Oakville’s first and only independent film and arts festival, is proud to announce that PreRelease Festival Passes will officially go on sale Friday April 1, 2016.

Willson Oakville Film Festival will offer the Red Carpet Pass and the Film Lovers Pass, both of great value for the cinephile and in limited supply until May 13, 2016.

Oakville’s own independent film festival will showcase eighteen (18) distinguished screenings for 2016. From romance, drama, comedy to features and shorts, executive director Wendy Donnan of Willson Oakville Film Festival is curating another unforgettable film festival for Oakville.

Wendy has worked in the film, television, and independent production business for over 25 years, and is an avid cinephile and movie lover. Wendy and Judah Hernandez conceived and started Oakville Festivals of Film and Art in 2014, and the festival is growing in size and acclaim every year.

“Willson Oakville Film Festival is very excited to be able to bring Oakville quality Canadian and international films that will be screening from Friday June 24 to Sunday June 26th in theatres in both Oakville’s downtown and Kerr Village.” Says Donnan.

Wendy has a Masters degree in Cinema and Media from York University, and is doing her PHD in Communications and Culture at Ryerson and York. She is also an independent producer who loves documentaries.

In advance of announcing the selected list of films, Willson Oakville Film Festival has launched two PreRelease Passes for sale on April 1, 2016. These are in limited supply and available until May 13 , 2016.
