Hamilton Fringe Festival

Hamilton Fringe Festival celebrates the spirit of PLAY for its 12th anniversary year!

Now – July 26, 2015
It’s the Fringe’s 12th Birthday!

Teetering on the edge of our teen years, the Fringe is taking this year to pay special tribute to the energy and playfulness of youth! Running in tandem with the Pan Am games this year’s Fringe is packed with high-octane performance adventures: 48 companies will present nearly 400 performances in 11 days this July!

Looking for a fun and interactive tour of the festival? Let the Fringe Bus carry you away! Hosted by the Hamilton Spectator’s Jeff Mahoney, the bus features guest
appearances by Fringe artists and a special spirited performance by participants in
the SPARK education program (A FREE program offered to promising young artists – aged 12-21 years, from the Hamilton region)

The tour also offers admission to a performance in one of the Gallery mini-Series:
“SHORT Shows in SMALL Spaces” This is one road trip you don’t want to miss!
(and a great experience for first-time Fringers!)

As always, the Fringe has tons of amazing indie theatre on offer: dance, comedies,
musicals, drama and more. There are shows with live music, explorations of contemporary issues, magic shows, women’s voices, LGBTQ voices, immigrant voices– from some of the best professional, community and emerging artist companies across Canada.
