Father’s Day is Sunday, June 21. Don’t have plans just yet? Don’t worry there’s lots happening in Oakville and Burlington this weekend to keep him entertained and well fed! Check out our list of ideas:

Sound of Music Festival: Burlington’s big free music festival that’s fun for the whole family. Carnivals, food, street festivals, parades and more.

Springridge Farm Food Truck Festival: Back for another year, the farm’s Father’s Day Food Truck Festival runs for two days, June 20 & 21 from 11am-3pm. Surefire fun for dads, families and foodies!

Cameron’s Brewing: Visit the brewery at 1165 Invicta Drive in Oakville, for a special bbq to celebrate Dad! This event is for families – all ages! Food, beer, raffle prizes and a bouncy castle for the kids plus a special beer for Dad on tap. Live music from Crosstown Traffic. Tickets are $20 until June 14th and $25 after.

Golf practice: A free bucket of balls for dad at 2 local driving ranges. Tee Zone Driving Range (4105 Bronte Rd., Oakville) and Within Range Golf Centre (3050 Guelph Line, Burlington). Participants will also have the opportunity to enter a putting contest for a chance to win RBC prizing, including tickets to the RBC Canadian Open.

Amuse-“Men”-t @ the Museum: Special Father’s Day event at Ireland House.  Between 1-4 p.m.,  demonstrations and samples of various remedies from the hearth, as well as recipes for grooming that most men in the 1800s used. Fathers are admitted free on June 21 while regular admission is $4.50; $4 for students and seniors; $2.25 for children 5-12 and free for children under five.
