Springridge Farm Introduces CANADA 150 JAM

Springridge Farm, an agricultural-tourism destination focused on excellence in fruit farming and family fun, is celebrating Canada’s 150 years since Confederation with a commemorative, must-have product: Canada 150 Jam.

This specialty preserve connects Canada from coast-to-coast in a single jar. The exclusive recipe is made in their farm kitchen and includes strawberries grown at Springridge Farm, raspberries from British Columbia, wild blueberries from Nova Scotia and a splash of Canadian sparkling wine. Canada 150 Jam will be available only at Springridge Farm when they open for the season on April 7, 2017 for $6.99 per jar. “We are thrilled to honour Canada with one of our longstanding traditions,” explains Laura Hughes, co-founder of Springridge Farm. “We have proudly been making jam for our customers for over half a century.”

In fact, Springridge Farm is hoping to impress the Prime Minister with their Canada 150 Jam and is looking for assistance from anyone who can help get the preserve to his breakfast table. For up-to-the-minute details about their jampaign (that’s a campaign for jam), follow them on social media and use #canada150jampaign.

Springridge Farm is a vibrant, local destination for visitors of all ages to experience seasonal festivals, the Fun Farm Yard, school tours, birthday parties and the Barn Market featuring gourmet products, an artisan bakery and gift boutique. Their commitment to Canada’s agricultural heritage is a vital part of their community. Springridge Farm was previously recognized with a Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence and received the accolade of being named Canada’s Retailer of Distinction.
