Follow The Alex Irish & Associates Kindness Tour – Celebrating ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ Month

In commemoration of Random Acts of Kindness Month, the Alex Irish & Associates team have planned out a busy February. Each day of the month they are doing something different to give back to the community, including running (and funding) bingo at Kensington Retirement Residence, helping out in the kitchen at the Kerr st. Ministries and spending a day volunteering for the Oakville Humane Society.

February 01:   Rolling up our sleeves!  Donating & sorting at the Food Bank at Kerr Street Ministries.

February 02:   Special donation to a local family in need.

February 03:   Filling the shelves at ‘The Compass Market’ in Mississauga which offers grocery & household items for those struggling with life’s challenges.

February 04:   Wellspring, Oakville … crossing a few items off their Wish List with a timely donation!!

February 05:   Have a Timmy’s on us!  And perhaps pay it forward? We will be handing out Tim’s cards starting at 10 am at the Lakeshore store, east of Kerr.

February 06:   Major Donation of clothing & accessories to The May Court Shop (Kerr St.) whose net profits fund many local charities.

February 07:   Humane Society, Oakville.  Showing a little love for our four legged friends!

February 08:   Makeover Day for 5 deserving women at Hair Den. A new hairdo and a new outfit to complement it!

February 09:    Hosting an indoor picnic at Churchill Senior’s Residence with local author Tina Powell reading from her new book “Picnic in Pisticci”!  Plus autographed books for each attendee!

February 10:    A fruit-filled day at Pine Grove Public School with our special donation to their Breakfast Cart programme.

February 11:    Ian Anderson House … making this special hospice a little brighter this morning!!

February 12:    Delivering a delicious Italian themed Sunday dinner to the residents of the Salvation Army’s Lighthouse Shelter.

February 13:    Donating & sorting food at Halton’s largest food bank!

February 14:    A very special Thank You to the amazing volunteers at Wellspring (on Sixth Line) on Valentine’s Day!

February 15:    Purchasing desperately needed strollers and donating to Halton Women’s Place.

February 16:    Bingo with a ‘twist’ at The Kensington Senior’s Residence! Plus refreshments & door prizes!

February 17:     Starting off the Family Weekend Holiday with 20 underprivileged children attending the new Batman Lego movie!

February 18:     Ensuring the Saturday night of the long weekend is a fun one with a pizza & pop delivery to some special Community Living group home residents!

February 19:     Sunday morning Tim’s cards being distributed at the Tim’s in Clarkson!

February 20:     A special delivery on Family Day to the Firehall in Port Credit.

February 21:     Helping outfit apartments at Armagh House for women & children in transition.

February 22:    A thank you to some hardworking construction workers on the Sixteen Mile Bridge!!

February 23:    A Special Delivery!

February 24:    Helping cook & serve in the Kerr Street Ministries Soup Kitchen!

February 25:    Saturday nights are perfect for pizza & pop for some special people at a Community Living group home!

February 26:    A thank you to some very dedicated Oakville firefighters!

February 27:    A book for each Grade 3 & 4 student at W.H. Morden P.S.

February 28:    A book for each Grade 2 student at Oakwood P.S.
