United Way Campaign Kicks Off at Specs On Pearl

Kicking off #UnitedWayDay in the Burlington and Greater Hamilton region, local business owners gathered at Specs on Pearl in Burlington to launch the three month charity drive. Hamilton’s Mayor Eisenberger and Burlington Deputy Mayor Rick Craven were on hand, in addition to United Way Chief Executive Officer Jeff Vallentin, and Chair Chantel Broten. With growing need in our community, the Greater Hamilton and Burlington United Way is setting their fundraising goal just above $8 million, and calling on local businesses and community members for support. Many of the Downtown Burlington businesses will be providing opportunities for donation – so next time you’re out shopping consider supporting the United Way and donating today!
