This year marks the Tenth Anniversary of Jeff’s Guyshop and the First Anniversary of Wendel Clark’s in Downtown Burlington. To celebrate, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats threw a tailgate-style family BBQ for their customers. The evening included great food, live music by local musicians Adam Cooke and Tim Park, Ticats Skills Games for the Kids, Ticats players (who signed more than a few autographs) Ticats cheerleaders, and a preview of the new Tim Hortons Field!
Jeff’s Guyshop opened inside Joelle’s ten years ago this past spring. The husband/wife team of Jeff and Joelle Cooling have provided “sensible style” for guys over the past ten years. It opened when Joelle’s women’s boutique moved in to the 457 Brant Street space to expand the business. The Coolings attribute their amazing staff and the support of the community for the success of the popular retail store. Their mantra is to give back to the community, and they do – raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for local health and education based initiatives.
Wendel Clark himself was on hand to meet fans and celebrate the first anniversary of Wendel’s in Downtown Burlington. Below are some photos from the terrific event.
