Our meal at Julia’s was one of the most unique and delicious culinary experiences I’ve ever had. The restaurant blends Italian and Latin flavours, and in doing so creates fantastic one-of-a-kind dishes that are unlike anything I’ve tried before. To begin, we shared the guacamole, crab dip and calamares fritti.
The dips were incredibly flavourful, and the calamari was cooked to perfection. To follow, I chose the sweet potato crusted salmon, which was served atop spinach and tomato quinoa. The salmon was also cooked perfectly, and the blend of comforting sweet potato flavours with the chimichurri spices made for a spellbinding experience. Other favourites at the table included the Jerk Duck and the Carne Parilla, all of which I couldn’t resist trying. Julia’s offers wonderfully fresh cuisine, and also has one of the best patios downtown Oakville. With the memory of that delicious meal still resonating in my mind, the selection of wines and their fantastic cocktail menu, I will surely be back again soon.
