The BSOMF, June 13–16, features an abundance of live music, a Grand Festival Parade, Downtown Streetfest, Carnival, Vendors’ and Crafter’s Marketplace, Family Zone and Music Education. This year’s musical lineup boasts some famous favourites, including: Platinum Blonde, The Spoons, The Grapes of Wrath, April Wine and Honeymoon Suite. No wonder it’s grown up to become Canada’s largest free music festival!

Has over 210,000 attendants each year!
Has been voted one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals every year since 2000!

The second annual Oakville Family Ribfest, June 21-23, emphasizes fun for the whole family and is also friendly on your wallet. The attractions in the Kids’ Play Zone are free. “The Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar was adamant that the Oakville Family Ribfest truly be a family-oriented event,” says Jennifer Kay, chair of the Kids’ Play Zone. She goes on to say, “Parents will be able to enjoy their beer and ribs without having to choose between letting their children play on the inflatables and have their faces painted, or eat lunch or dinner on-site.”
There will be nine professional ribbers, great food, continuous live music, vendors, artisans, and a new Sports Zone. Do we need to mention the food? You can also enjoy chicken (also Halal), grilled shrimp, salads, coleslaw, baked beans, pizza, corn-on-the-cob, French fries, blooming onions, doughnuts, funnel cakes, beaver tails, popcorn, ice cream, candies and more! oakvillefamilyribfest.com
